sorry if this is off topic but i struggled to think of a place where i could post this.
I had this thought just earlier and so i animated the thought that i had.
scientists state that the big bang originated everywhere and that the universe expands continuously and so stars get further away from each other, galaxies get further away from each other and space gets stretched more and more over time. but what if space stretches to a certain degree and snaps back, like ripples. the box in my animation represents a portion of space. as the space snaps back, it folds in on itself and forms new matter and energy.
