The hexagram...

Sometimes on Tribe I'm goofing off, sometimes serious, and really enjoy what i read as I move around the site. I joined this tribe because I'm a builder, (not a contractor), a lead carpenter and project manager.

I've just finished some very cool work for a Buddhist community in Seattle. In two rounds of construction I helped them turn an old Christian church into a Buddhist Temple. I built the altar and set the Buddha and other deities in place with a combination of good ol boys and monks.
I built the tori gate out front to accurate dimensions although scaled down to fit the space, and put in a Tibetan and English library.

In round two I created residences for the 17 Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje. I'm just putting the final touches on it now.

That said, I'm in the early stages of contemplation for building a church from scratch for another community. I'd like to post here from time to time because the opportunity in this one is to have the design follow the ideals of sacred geometry and so sacred architecture. I'll need to work with the iconography and important symbolism of the church, while incorporating it into the design through the art of the sacred.

Any feedback will be appreciated, and your thoughts and ideas will be given respect and consideration. A broader community holds more vision than an individual, and just as I reach out to books to find what I need, I'll also reach out to the community.

On Tribe sometimes I'm a dork and at other's an aspiring poet.

On this thread I'm the me I am at work, a really competent and considerate person who can bring a communities vision into the world.
This project is the chance I always dreamed of as a kid, to be a part of building a cathedral, or in this case, a star shaped church.
Please know this is important to me and feel free to bust jokes if it's called for, but also please remember that at the heart of it, for me, this is a sacred adventure. I'm open to all the help or advise you may feel interested in giving.

Six is the number, and the roof from above will be a hexagon star. The floor an amazing mandala expressed in Terrazzo, mosaic flooring or paving composed of chips of broken stone, usually marble, and cement, polished when in place. The shape, the roof and the foundation, being dreamed up as we speak.

A software program for sacred geometry would be useful.

Phi relationships in the human body

Hi,

I have recently been measuring the various parts of my body whose sizes are said to be proportioned by the Phi constant and have found that none of the measurements I have made are particularly close to phi...

Two such examples are:

a) The length of each bone in each finger is said to be a phi proportion of the next bone in that finger.
b) The length of the forearm is said to be a phi proportion of the whole arm.

I have many other examples but these are the two that I have found easiest to measure...

The fingers were kind of close to phi and I can say that since there is variation across the species it is likely that the average of all people may well be 1.618..

But the forearm to arm relationship is way out... I am closer to 1:1 in fact...

Can anyone shed any light on this? A link to a detailed study into the relationships of global constants to the dimensions of the human body would be fantastic.

The "Golden"Egg

For some reason the egg has captured my interest of late(initially as a beautiful sculptural subject)and I've begun some on-line research associated with it's shape characteristics,proportions and fluid dynamics.
I knew it was basically two related spheres with connected tangents. I found Albrecht Durer's easy method of drawing it's construction.
Then things got interesting when I found Viktor Schauberger's notes regarding this shape as a "living" container for water.
(Apparently),he spun water within an egg shaped container at very high speed 3400 RPM and discovered a discharge of electrostatic energy at the equator ,and an electromagnetic field as well which was counteracting the effect of gravity...Dan winter has delineated a Phi proportioned "Golden Egg"and suggested that Schauberger's experiments were dealing with implosion technology.
Can anyone add to my knowledge on this subject ?

Recently found a number of old glass panels covered in 8-pointed stars, and am curious about the best way to consciously incorporate them into sustainable architecture. its descibed that space and time is curved or warped. its a a desciption that i've not fully been able to get my mind around. its very abstract me. perhaps you can provide a simplistic answer to help me grasp it more tangibly. and why is time curved? maybe it can't exist any other way. its said said cuved space tells matter where to go. ah! and what are the sacred implications of the time warp/curve geometry (philisophical relationships) . maybe add some models and metaphores. remember i am a layman in this department so do'nt warp my mind too much on the issue. regards

energies and relationships

I have been awoken to write and so it seems write i must.

The council of Wise Boys are in my ear.

A lot of differing thoughts in the raihn brain about thought forms, forming and shaping energies and the corner of my lounge room that always seems dusty.

Archangel Michael always told me that energy was just that- never good nor bad, just energy- the same for everyone and everything , everywhere, and that it was merely our own personal reaction to energy that made it what we defined as pos or neg.

Super council guide Castor has taken me even further on this of late, however it has been a lot to absorb and even now i feel i have only gripped the edge of this amazing topic.

In point form because i love point form, here goes- as always with me, the more you question, the more i know so please ask me about this/or give some feed back and i will do what i can to further enlighten ( a grand word and not exactly what i meant but it is very early! )

we hear people speak of positive energies and negative energies but what are they really ?
everyone has energy- the energy we have is universal life force energy, in that all are created the same, equal and yet it is how that energy reacts when mixed with other aspects of the mundane world that creates the positive and negative
energy reacting with energy alone is the same as say, salt being put with salt- no different
energy reacting with energy with thoughts ,emotions,physical sensations and free will added to the mix is a different thing all together- no longer is salt just salt- you have added various herbs and spices- you now have something completely different and it is this newly created 'energy variance' that now takes on the traits of positive or negative.
still with me ? good
so, it is this energy variance that we call 'relationships,situations, responses and entities'.
it is this mix of energy and herbs and spices that becomes ' another thing all together'
for example- I am me, Lisa and i am propelled, fueled by universal life force energy as is my daughter Prue. We both share the same energy, it is common to both of us- however- we also share an amazing array of thoughts, feelings and emotions that come with being mother and daughter and that come with being individuals with free will, and it is these thoughts, feelings and emotions that when mixed with our combined energies, form what we know as our relationship.
relationships ( and not just human to human) are the result of energy and emotion and it is this combined fusion that takes on an almost energy of its own and becomes what we term as positive or negative.
relationships ( and by this i mean, the results of how you how you relate) are energy variances unto themselves and thrive if fed or dwindle and fade if denied.
ok
so when someone says that you or your home or a work situation with you is negative energy, what they really are saying is that the human emotions, thoughts, feelings that have been bought into that energy have been negative or positive and this then becomes a separate issue.
you hear of people who feel 'haunted' by a negative energy of kinds- it is not the energy that haunts them but the result of that energy mixed with the emotions and thoughts it contained.
so.............................relationships become separate 'created' entities- it is this separate created entity that 'takes on a life of its own' so to speak depending on how we nurture or neglect it.
i am just me as Prue is just Prue and yet our relationship is not just the result of a combination of just our two energies. There is a whole lot of other stuff added there that gives our relationship with each other a force of its own- long after i am gone and my energy is gone, our relationship will live on because we have created it and given it life- we have added the herbs and spices to the salt.
the same can be seen in negative relationship- using me again- i am just me and my Rose Quartz crystal is just itself- we are both comprised of the same universal life force energy and yet it how we flavour that energy on a mundane level that creates the relationship we have with it.
I could love that crystal and use it for healing purposes thus creating a positive relationship with it that is separate to both of us or I could throw it at a passing car and break a windshield thus creating a negative relationship with it.
I am imagining you are pretty confused because as clear as this is in my mind i am having trouble getting it down in writing.

bottom line is that we are constantly creating new 'entities' or 'energy variances' and it is these new forms of our combined energies and mundane aspects, that take on aspects of positive or negative, not our original life force energy.

If we hate someone, it is not because they ( or we) have a negative energy- it is because the result of our energy and theirs plus the mundane aspects of life ( thoughts feelings etc) have created or formed a negative entity.

remember that relationships with anything are separate to you and not just you alone.

you can not change energy but you can certainly shape and mould it- form it into different shapes.

i am certain i have confused you enough.

i know what i mean.

its why we live in fear even though the person who abused us has passed over- the relationship we created with them is still being fed with our fear and so continues to live to haunt us.

how to control this- watch where you give your energy and if a situation, purpose does not suit your higher good, withdraw your energy from it- Don't feed it. if you have created a negative situation with someone then by withdrawing your input may not 'kill' it but it will certainly lessen it/weaken it and the impact it has on you.

ask me questions and please remember i am in the early stages with this.

Castor is a bossy guide but I am grateful for his continued direction and teaching.

Hello, I will be 33 years old on 12/21/12.

I am new to this group and was wonder if there are any other like me out there know if there is anyone one out there who knows if this has some significance. My life number is 5 and on that day I will have 5 3's occur that day. (1+2) 3 (2+1) 3 (1+2) 3 33 yrs old that day. I am a artist and much of my art revolves around Mandalas. it seems that I begin to across these same patterns and designs in the world around me. I have even seen them on TV or at the least in there basic forms. At first I thought I was just being influenced my TV or the media and advertising. But have cut my self away from such exposure for the last 3 years and it still occurs. I am going crazy or is this just a common occurrence. All input in welcome and i may been interested in starting a tribe for those who seem to have similar experiences or share my birth date, if the date has any important significants. All input is welcome I need to know if there are others who have noticed this and evreyone's thought on the matter.

He describes them as almost prayers....
I wonder, if geometry of energy is (as I believe it to be) harmonic angular density dancing... Then the term Angel should have a root in the word Angle!

If we all meditate at the same time, anchor ourselves in the Earths Starry Core and beam ourselfs to the highest dimensions we can reach with the help of Ets, Archangels and Ascended Masters, we can have a significantly beneficial impact on the Energy Grid of Mother Earth and the Collective Human Consciousness. There are many ways to climb up to through the dimensions, I find the merkaba the most effective but if you simply connect to your I AM Presence (in your chest), ground yourself, invoke your guides, angels, et's of light and the ascended masters plane, then visualize a little version of you standing in your pineal galnd on a glowing lotus, connect a string from the top of your head your head all the way up to the Infinite source of All that Is and vizualize yourself on the lotus shooting up the string as high as you can and into the Great Galactic Sun, bathe in the Awesome Light for a few minutes and then bring it down with you all the way to the Earths core,, this will anchor a massive pillar of light,, vizualize it comming down and sinking deep into the earht,, shinny, pearly and radiant white. You can also speak to the dimensions themself and ask them to anchor into our planet and help heal and raise our frequencies,., they cannot help with out our asking (law of free will).. It's funny I posted this once and got two replies. People get all jumpy and excited about crop circies or the Sidonia face / pyramid on Mars but this was a big yawn? WTF? This is one of the most exciting things I've seen in years! So I repost:

Last night I saw undoctored video of the Casini space probe flying by Saturn's North pole. In the video there was this giant hurricane with a perfect hexagram inside it. It totally and absolutle freaked me out. WHAT THE FUCK IS IT? Not only that but as this gigantic storm rages around, the hexamram remains STATIONARY. WIERD WIERD WIERD WIERD WIERD!!!

One of the most bizarre weather patterns known has been photographed at Saturn, where astronomers have spotted a huge, six-sided feature circling the north pole.

Rather than the normally sinuous cloud structures seen on all planets that have atmospheres, this thing is a hexagon.

The honeycomb-like feature has been seen before. NASA's Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft imaged it more than two decades ago. Now, having spotted it with the Cassini spacecraft, scientists conclude it is a long-lasting oddity.

"This is a very strange feature, lying in a precise geometric fashion with six nearly equally straight sides," said Kevin Baines, atmospheric expert and member of Cassini's visual and infrared mapping spectrometer team at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. "We've never seen anything like this on any other planet. Indeed, Saturn's thick atmosphere, where circularly-shaped waves and convective cells dominate, is perhaps the last place you'd expect to see such a six-sided geometric figure, yet there it is."

The hexagon is nearly 15,000 miles (25,000 kilometers) across. Nearly four Earths could fit inside it. The thermal imagery shows the hexagon extends about 60 miles (100 kilometers) down into the clouds.

At Saturn's south pole, Cassini recently spotted a freaky human eye-like feature that resembles a hurricane.

"It's amazing to see such striking differences on opposite ends of Saturn's poles," said Bob Brown, team leader of the Cassini visual and infrared mapping spectrometer at the University of Arizona. "At the south pole we have what appears to be a hurricane with a giant eye, and at the north pole of Saturn we have this geometric feature, which is completely different."

The hexagon appears to have remained fixed with Saturn's rotation rate and axis since first glimpsed by Voyager 26 years ago. The actual rotation rate of Saturn is still uncertain, which means nobody knows exactly how long the planet's day is.

"Once we understand its dynamical nature, this long-lived, deep-seated polar hexagon may give us a clue to the true rotation rate of the deep atmosphere and perhaps the interior," Baines said.

This is the most powerful Solstice that we've had in
modern or ancient history, so this is BIG and I hope

The Solstice is when the Sun moves into the sign of Capricorn and our days start getting longer (the return of the SUN/ SON). This Solstice is so rare, that no one knows how long ago this line-up actually last occurred, but we are sure it hasn't happened in the last 26,000 years. Next wave

Awakenings come in levels, just like peeling off the onion layers of sludge built up over each lifetime, once you have them peeled off, the awakenings begin. I had my first awakening a few months ago now. It was preceeded by a sound, it was the sound of an orchestra warming up. While the music had no real rhythm to it, many tunes involved were recognizable and almost there.

Last night I had another sound encounter, this time it was more connected, for me anyway...however many of my friends also experienced the orchestra warming up a few days to weeks before they had their awakening, so I can only imagine that this sound pre-awakening is soul group oriented as far as that particular sound goes anyway, it seems to be akin to our morning alarm clock trying to wake us up, letting us know that something awesome is about to happen, sort of like someone saying, ok get ready, here comes the next set. I get chills thinking about it. I'll keep you all posted and hope to hear from anyone else who is experiencing this too.

can anyone help???

i have a question i am hoping someone out there has wondered before, so here it is...........if you follow the edges of the great pyramid (there are four) down the edge of the pyramid at an angle but then keep following the same line down into the earth until you hit a spot on the crust of the earth on the other side, where do you end up? there should be five corresponding places on the earth directly related the the great pyramid, 4 places that correspond with the diagonal edges and one place that corresponds with the middle or top of the pyramid as you follow it straight down through pyramid and through the earth till you hit the other side, if anyone can help i would much appreciate it! hopefully i was able to explain it good enough!

...i feel more in place, when in a place i fit, like inbeween the roots of a giant tree with branches that start 4 times higher than the height of me....
was "primitive man " defined by his surroundings... Our environment is known to affect us, could it have shaped our bodies as well as our minds..... the proportions of the mind seem to be linked with the planet as well.... watch for the full moon and see how it makes you feel.......

just rambling... but if anyone has any knows anything to back up the history of the proportion of man i would love to hear it, or just your take on it...

For the sake of another dollar, because their truely is 'a will to dominate' and It Is Sooo Obvious! Like Naze said, it is a machine. A literal fucking machine, and it stays oiled and running by CREATING enemies.
these are not defence tightening campaigns but full blown invasions to feed the machine.
I will, without fear, write that one more time - the war machine is currently turning profits to those who will uplift it's blood soaked values and censor the freedom and life representing individual; the formula is in fear weaving by a rampant administration, artificial scarcity tactics by people just like Rupert Murdoch and a government that now willfully does not work for its people.
how is it not natural to want to stand for what is tangibly right and speak out against what is obviously defunct?

i don't care how you vote or even if you vote, but as World Citizens we have a right to stand and should - and if someone tells you, 'we're not there yet', you should ask when they threw their hands up. what's evil to me is that are people out there actually giving up and tithing away their rights.

There is a saying; if God is for Us, who can be against us. More importantly, if we are All for Peace, Unity and those values of natural Self emenating Law w/ a conscious effort, how could there not be a MASSIVE effect with global implications?

Intelligence is not an organization, destination, principle, or frequency...but the ability to sustain and thrive amidst all these institutions that may or may not give it in Freedom for the sake of an interconnected Victory.
To me, this is the humanity that I stand for, and I can see that strength in Us, It Is continually arising within the constancy of Now.
The intelligent humanity is not so by plugging into the corporate or governmental machine, but will find that Nature adapts in response to those invested in her success from intelligent, interconnected and self-sufficient stances.
Blood and oil will not carry Us any further than suffering here and infecting All Ways.
So, Now mind and creative inspiration becomes the power of One Earth Vision, and alternative energies begin to flood in ceaseless multiplicity and open-ended variations from the Source of It. I will see that gateway open wide in my lifetime.

Good-vibey architecture

I have some land and I have been thinking of knocking down one of my houses. At least I wouldn't level the one I'm living in until I finished building the replacement out behind. I have been thinking a concrete pyramid would be cool. Then align it North and south with a window that would direct the sun through to a spot on the wall on the summer solstice, like Chako Canyon sort of.

A "golden mean" spiral house made out of shotcrete was my second idea. Live in the center and see what happens.

What shapes do you think would inherently attract good energy? What material would you build out of to maximize your good-vibey-potential? Could you build a house that was like a battery and makes you feel jazzed to be inside? I could build a teepee-sized pyramid out of alternating layers of material that was voltaic. Aren't the newest batteries like that? Or do you think that could be atmospherically dangerous to live in a "charged environment"?

Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions? I have the land and lots of time.

A week from today; Friday October 19, 2007 at 6:00pm, I will be giving an address at the New Life Expo. The topic I will be speaking on is "The Hermetic Principles; the Secret beyond The Secret." In this address I will explain the Hermetic Principles, discuss their origin, discuss how "The Secret" and "The Law of Attraction" are descended from them, and how to use the Principles to more than just manifest; to create your personal reality by intention.

My lecture will be brief, but will allow sufficient time for a Q & A period to follow. I will distribute an introductory guide to Hermeticism (gratis), and a regimen of exercises utilizing the Hermetic Principles to "morp" the individuals life (also gratis). In the short period of this lecture: LIVES WILL BE CHANGED!!!

We are leading a small group of people to the Amazon to work with the sacred medicines of the jungle for ten days in late November.

We will travel to a sweet little place up river from Iquitos and be received by a mestizo curandero who has impeccable integrity and a solid connection to his medicine.

A "dieta" will be offered and as well as jungle walks, clay baths, group discussions, and at least four ceremonies with " la medicina".
